Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Data Science Consultant to join our growing analytics and consulting team. As a Data Science Consultant, you will work closely with clients, business leaders, data engineers, software developers, and machine learning specialists to transform complex business problems into data-driven solutions. You will leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, statistical modeling, and artificial intelligence to help organizations improve operational efficiency, increase revenue, reduce costs, and make strategic business decisions.

In this role, you will consult with stakeholders to understand business objectives, gather requirements, identify opportunities, and design scalable analytical solutions. You will collect, clean, and analyze large datasets, develop predictive models, build machine learning algorithms, and create interactive dashboards that communicate actionable insights. You will also provide recommendations to executives and clients based on analytical findings while ensuring data accuracy, governance, and compliance.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in statistics, mathematics, programming, and machine learning, along with excellent communication and consulting skills. Experience with cloud technologies, big data platforms, and AI solutions is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and define analytical objectives.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data science and machine learning solutions.
• Collect, clean, validate, and preprocess structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to discover trends, correlations, anomalies, and business opportunities.
• Design, develop, and deploy predictive models, classification models, regression models, clustering algorithms, recommendation systems, and forecasting solutions.
• Build machine learning models using supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning techniques.
• Develop statistical models and perform hypothesis testing to support business decisions.
• Create customer segmentation models and behavioral analytics for marketing and sales optimization.
• Build fraud detection, risk analysis, and anomaly detection models where applicable.
• Design and optimize data pipelines in collaboration with Data Engineering teams.
• Develop ETL processes to prepare high-quality datasets for analysis.
• Build interactive dashboards and executive reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
• Perform A/B testing and experimental analysis to evaluate product features and business strategies.
• Work with SQL databases and cloud-based data warehouses to extract and manipulate large datasets.
• Collaborate with AI Engineers and Software Developers to deploy machine learning models into production.
• Utilize cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for scalable analytics solutions.
• Monitor model performance, retrain models, and optimize algorithms for improved accuracy.
• Document methodologies, technical processes, and project deliverables.
• Present technical findings and business recommendations to executives, clients, and cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior data scientists and analysts.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging AI technologies, machine learning frameworks, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with organizational data governance, privacy, and security policies.
• Support multiple client engagements while managing project timelines and deliverables.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Business Analytics, or Advanced Analytics.
• Strong knowledge of statistics, probability, linear algebra, and predictive modeling.
• Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience building production-ready machine learning models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a consulting environment.
