About the opportunity

Scale Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Bicep/Terraform automation, and global traffic routing for hyper-scale cloud services.

Microsoft is hiring a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for Azure Core Engineering. You will manage the foundational compute, container runtime, and software-defined network layers supporting millions of concurrent cloud tenant virtual machines.
task Core Responsibilities

What you will do

  • check_circle Scale multi-region Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) fleets with automated node pool scaling and GitOps workflows.
  • check_circle Standardize enterprise Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Azure Bicep modules.
  • check_circle Build automated cost governance and FinOps telemetry using Azure Resource Graph and Cost Management APIs.
  • check_circle Resolve complex networking incidents involving Azure Front Door, ExpressRoute, and Private Endpoints.

What we are looking for

  • arrow_circle_right 5+ years experience building and operating cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
