RAG Systems & Vector Database Engineer

About the opportunity

Engineer high-throughput vector indexing, hybrid semantic search, and document intelligence on Snowflake Cortex AI.

What you will do

• check_circle Design and implement distributed vector index algorithms and hybrid keyword/dense search engines.
• check_circle Optimize embeddings generation pipelines processing millions of enterprise documents per hour.
• check_circle Develop automated RAG evaluation suites measuring retrieval recall, precision, and context faithfulness (Ragas).
• check_circle Integrate Snowflake Cortex LLM functions with LangChain and LlamaIndex SDKs.

What we are looking for

• arrow_circle_right 5+ years software engineering experience with deep knowledge of search systems, vector indexing, or information retrieval.
• arrow_circle_right Strong programming skills in C++, Go, or Python and experience with distributed query engines.
• arrow_circle_right Hands-on expertise with vector search libraries (FAISS, HNSWLib, Qdrant, Pinecone).
