About the opportunity

Build enterprise agent swarms and cognitive workflow automation using IBM watsonx.ai and LangGraph.

IBM Research and watsonx is seeking a Multi-Agent Systems Developer. You will engineer collaborative AI swarms where specialized agents decompose large business projects, conduct parallel execution, debate findings, and synthesize verifiable enterprise deliverables.

task Core Responsibilities

What you will do

check_circle Develop agent coordination protocols, voting systems, and conflict resolution mechanisms.
check_circle Integrate watsonx Granite foundation models into complex multi-agent supply chain and finance workflows.
check_circle Build telemetry dashboards tracking token consumption, latency budgets, and agent decision lineage.
check_circle Write clean, modular open-source code and client-ready demonstration prototypes.

What we are looking for

arrow_circle_right 4+ years software engineering experience in Python and modern distributed backends.
arrow_circle_right Demonstrated experience building production LLM applications with LangChain, LangGraph, or CrewAI.
arrow_circle_right Familiarity with enterprise APIs, JSON schema validation (Pydantic), and containerization.
