Data Scientist / AI Engineer

About the opportunity

Join American Tech Global LLC as a Data Scientist / AI Engineer and build data-driven solutions using machine learning, generative AI, large language models, Python, and modern analytics technologies.

What you will do

• check_circle Analyze large structured and unstructured datasets to identify trends, patterns, business insights, and opportunities for predictive modeling.
• check_circle Design, train, evaluate, and optimize machine learning models for classification, regression, clustering, forecasting, and other business use cases.
• check_circle Develop Python-based data pipelines and perform data cleaning, feature engineering, exploratory data analysis, and statistical analysis.
• check_circle Build generative AI and LLM-powered applications using prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, APIs, and retrieval-augmented generation techniques.
• check_circle Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, product teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions.
• check_circle Deploy, monitor, and improve machine learning models while documenting experiments, model performance, assumptions, and technical methodologies.

What we are looking for

• arrow_circle_right Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• arrow_circle_right Hands-on proficiency with Python, SQL, Pandas, NumPy, and data visualization libraries such as Matplotlib or similar tools.
• arrow_circle_right Strong understanding of machine learning concepts including regression, classification, clustering, feature engineering, model evaluation, and statistical analysis.
• arrow_circle_right Experience with machine learning or deep learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• arrow_circle_right Working knowledge of generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, embeddings, or retrieval-augmented generation is preferred.
• arrow_circle_right Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
