Cryptographic Security Engineer - Edge Defense

About the opportunity

Implement post-quantum cryptography, TLS 1.3 protocol extensions, and DDoS mitigation algorithms on Cloudflare’s global edge.

What you will do

• check_circle Implement post-quantum and hybrid key exchange protocols across Cloudflare’s global Anycast edge.
• check_circle Write memory-safe, ultra-low latency cryptographic primitives in Rust and C.
• check_circle Audit cryptographic implementations for side-channel leakage, timing attacks, and memory vulnerabilities.
• check_circle Collaborate with the IETF and academic researchers to establish international internet security standards.

What we are looking for

• arrow_circle_right Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Cryptography.
• arrow_circle_right 4+ years developing cryptographic libraries or low-level security software in Rust, Go, or C.
• arrow_circle_right Thorough understanding of applied cryptography, public key infrastructure (PKI), TLS 1.3, and side-channel defense.
