Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Cyber Security Analyst to join our growing Information Security team. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting the organization’s networks, systems, cloud infrastructure, and sensitive data against cyber threats. You will monitor security events, investigate incidents, identify vulnerabilities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen the organization’s security posture.

The ideal candidate has experience with Security Operations Center (SOC) processes, SIEM tools, endpoint security, vulnerability management, and incident response. This position offers an opportunity to work with modern security technologies in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, or IBM QRadar.
• Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents, including malware infections, phishing attacks, unauthorized access, and data breaches.
• Analyze logs from endpoints, servers, cloud platforms, firewalls, and network devices to detect suspicious activities.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts with IT and engineering teams.
• Monitor and manage Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR/XDR) solutions such as Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, or SentinelOne.
• Conduct threat hunting to identify advanced persistent threats (APTs) and indicators of compromise (IOCs).
• Support security awareness initiatives by assisting with phishing simulations and employee cybersecurity training.
• Review firewall, VPN, identity, and access management policies to ensure secure configurations.
• Assist with security audits and compliance initiatives aligned with NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, or PCI DSS requirements.
• Develop and maintain incident response procedures, security documentation, and playbooks.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Network, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams to implement security best practices.
• Monitor cloud environments across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform for potential security risks.
• Recommend and implement security improvements to reduce organizational risk.
• Stay informed about emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Cyber Security, Security Operations Center (SOC), or Information Security.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routing, switching, and firewalls.
• Experience using SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, IBM QRadar, or Elastic Security.
• Knowledge of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR/XDR) platforms.
• Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and Active Directory environments.
• Understanding of common cyber attack techniques, malware, ransomware, phishing, and insider threats.
• Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Nessus, Qualys, or Rapid7.
• Knowledge of identity and access management concepts including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud security in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK Framework and Cyber Kill Chain.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for security automation.
• Experience with security orchestration and automation (SOAR) platforms.
• Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture and security best practices.
• Experience supporting regulatory compliance initiatives.
